On March 14, Haykak Arshamyan, Executive Director of “Hayastan” pan-Armenian Foundation,   met with representatives of a number of Armenian organizations in the Netherlands at the Armenian Embassy. Welcoming Haykak Ashramyan and those present, Ambassador Tigran Balayan regretted that due to restrictions on the spread of coronavirus, not all representatives of the community organizations are attending the meeting and the meetings of the Executive Director of Hayastan Foundation in other cities have been canceled. Noting that the compatriots have the opportunity to watch the meeting through live broadcast, Ambassador Balayan attached importance to the activation of the Foundation's Dutch branch and the involvement of all structures and as many individuals as possible.

Haykak Arshamyan, Executive Director of “Hayastan” pan-Armenian Foundation, spoke to the audience about the Foundation's 28-year activity, as well as the steps taken by the organization after the revolution, the changes and the adopted strategy, presented a new website with innovative fund-raising opportunities that meet the modern requirements. In addition to the one-time transfers, the system also makes regular donations and monitors program implementation.

Haykak Arshamyan briefed the participants on the foundation's activities: education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, housing, social assistance. At the end of the meeting Haykak Arshamyan answered the questions of those present. An agreement was reached to organize new discussions in the near future, coordinated by the Embassy and with the participation of Armenian NGOs, as well as elect a new council in the autumn of this year, involving as many Armenian organizations and individual benefactors as possible in the country.
