 On March 5, Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands, Matho Hakhverdyan, the head of Abovyan Union and Inge Drost, Secretary of the Dutch-Armenian Federation attended the opening ceremony of the "Old Center’s Rug" stretching from the HS railway station to the center of The Hague.

Within the framework of the opening ceremony, Tigran Balayan had a talk with Richard de Mos, Deputy Mayor of The Hague, and thanked the latter for inscribing the "Water will find his way" saying in Armenian in the heart of The Hague, which, according to the Ambassador, is a unique appreciation for the Armenians who have contributed to the development of the city. The ambassador presented the Deputy Mayor the initiatives aimed at expanding the Armenian-Dutch cooperation.

The Hague Deputy Mayor welcomed the presence of the Armenian Ambassador in this important event for the city and expressed willingness to discuss opportunities for cooperation.
