On July 8, Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands, was elected President of the Group of Francophone Ambassadors accredited in The Hague replacing the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco.

 

Expressing gratitude to his colleagues for their trust and support, Ambassador Balayan noted that his appointment as head of the GFA is very symbolic as Armenia took the OIF presidency during the Francophone Summit held in October of last year.

 

Ambassador Balayan assured his colleagues that he would put forward his utmost efforts to expand the use of the French language in the international organizations operating in The Hague, deepen and spread the Francophone values ​​and ideas in the Netherlands.
