Ambassador Viktor Biyagov participated in a panel discussion “After COP16 in Cali, Colombia: assessment, challenges and opportunities”

On 15 November, the Embassy of Colombia in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Diplomat Magazine and the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (ISS) organized a panel discussion: “After COP16 in Cali, Colombia: assessment, challenges and opportunities”. The event was attended by H.E Mr. Jorge Rojas Rodríguez, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia.

Ambassador of Armenia H.E. Viktor Biyagov delivered remarks during the discussion, expressing gratitude for the exceptional hospitality and leadership of Colombia as the host country of COP16.

Referring to the priorities of the Republic of Armenia for hosting the COP17, the Ambassador underscored the commitment of the Republic of Armenia in addressing the challenges of environmental protection and biodiversity crisis.
