Ambassador Balayan's visit to Royal Flora Holland

On March 11, Ambassador Tigran Balayan visited the Royal Flora Holland Company, the world's largest auction company for the sale of flowers, plants and seedlings. Accompanied by Jacques Gusens, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, Ambassador had a tour in the company's territory, got acquainted with its activities and volumes of work, where about 100,000 transactions are made daily through 35 auction clocks and online purchases.

Jacques Gussens said that in addition to serving as a hub for local produce, their organization imports and exports products from flowering companies from different regions to more than a hundred countries around the world.

Ambassador Balayan presented to Jacques Gusens the high demand for flowers in the markets of Armenia and the EAEU and in this context the possibilities of cooperation with Armenia were discussed.
