An office of an Honorary Consul of Armenia will open in Eindhoven

On July 16, at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Netherlands, the ceremony of awarding the Consular Patent to Mr. Willy van de Kerkhof, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Eindhoven, the Netherlands took place. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Rob Zieck, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Amsterdam and other guests.

H.E. Mr. Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Netherlands, congratulated Mr. Willy van de Kerkhof and wished him every success emphasizing the importance of the mission of the Honorary Consul in the states of North Brabant, Limburg, Zeeland, Gelderland. In his speech Ambassador Balayan stressed that the election of the famous football player, public figure Mr. van de Kerkhof as an Honorary Consul testifies of our intention of deepening the cooperation not only in the political, economic, but also cultural and sports spheres.

In his speech, Mr. Willy van de Kerkhof stressed that it is a great honor for him to represent Armenia in the southern states of the Netherlands and he assumes the honorable position with all responsibility. Mr. Willy van de Kerkhof mentioned that Eindhoven and the south of the Netherlands are his home and the doors of that home will always be open for Armenia.
