Ambassador designate Balayan handed over the copies of his credentials

On October 31, Tigran Balayan, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Netherlands, handed over the copies of his credentials to Pascalle Grotenhuis, Director of Protocol and Host Country Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Netherlands.

While welcoming and congratulating the newly-appointed Ambassador, Director Grotenhuis expressed hope that Mr. Balayan will significantly contribute to the further development of bilateral relations.

Expressing gratitude for the best wishes, Ambassador designate Balayan emphasized that after 11 years of break he is happy to return to the Netherlands aiming to boost the further expansion of centuries-old Armenian-Dutch effective cooperation.

During the meeting Director Grotenhuis presented the ceremony of handing over the credentials to Willem-Alexander, the King of the Netherlands. The parties discussed issues related to the avtivities of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Netherlands.
