Ambassador Balayan’s meeting with the Executive Director of Europol

On January 17, Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands met with Catherine de Bolle, the Executive Director of Europol.

Ambassador Balayan highly appreciated Europol's activities as a Pan-European agency coordinating the fight against crime and introduced the activities of the law enforcement bodies of Armenia in the fight against organized crime. In this regards, Ambassador Balayan highlighted the importance of deepening the cooperation with Europol and EU member states.

The sides discussed the prospects of establishing cooperation between the Police of RA and the Europol and outlined the further joint steps.

At the request of the Executive Director, Ambassador Balayan presented Armenia's stance on the regional issues and international community’s efforts aimed at their resolution.
