Ambassador's visit to the "Dutch Cycling Embassy"

On February 28, Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands visited the office of the “Dutch Cycling Embassy”, where he met with Miram Borsigli, the director of the organization, which unites over 60 companies, and the representatives of Move Mobility and MobyCon.

Ambassador Balayan briefed the participants on the steps to develop cycling culture in Armenia and attached importance the exchange of Dutch experience in promoting the cycling. Namely, emphasized: "We want to use the experience of the Netherlands to present to the Armenian population that having a bicycle has many advantages. It's healthy, it's harmless for the environment, and it's cost-saving”.

The representatives of the organizations participating in the meeting presented the Ambassador their activities and the experience of introducing cycling culture abroad, expressing willingness to implement similar programs in Armenia.
