An article titled "Optimism in Armenia" in a Dutch magazine

The prestigious Dutch weekly Elsevier Weekblad in its latest publication has published an extensive article on Armenia, reforms going on in the country, the Velvet Revolution and its results.

The author of the article is Robert De Witt, editor of the international section of the weekly, who visited Armenia last month. “The Wonderful Land of Hovik and Lily: Optimism in Armenia” author presents his impressions of his visit to Armenia.

The article presents the life and daily routine of Armenians who had come to the Netherlands years ago to obtain refugee status but who returned back to Armenia after being rejected.

The author notes that both the Dutch government and the repatriated Armenians consider Armenia to be one of the safest countries in the world, and in the case of a return, citizens of Armenia can be engaged in any activity.

The article also touches upon the positive changes taking place in Armenia, steps undertaken by the authorities to develop Armenia and adds that numerous programs are being implemented to ensure the well-being of the citizens of Armenia.
