Armenia participated in The Embassy Festival in The Hague

On September 7, the Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands had a wide participation during the annual Embassy Festival, held in The Hague Central Park, with the support of the Dutch-Armenian community and businessmen.

The festival initiated on the main stage of the event with performances by the children's song and dance group of the Hague "Abovyan" Cultural Union.

This year Armenia was represented by two pavilions. One of the pavilions was presenting Armenian sweets, dried fruits, tea, souvenirs, jewelry, which were made by Armenian craftsmen, children's literature and comics. On the other pavilion, lavash and Armenian barbecues were being made.

According to the event organizers, the Armenian pavilions were very popular at the festival and were among the most visited.

The Armenian pavilions emphasized Armenia as an attractive tourist destination. Favorable conditions for doing business in Armenia also were underlined. Visitors were given brochures on various tourism opportunities.

In all, about 60,000 people attended the Embassy Festival.
