The Secretary General of the MFA of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Melikyan visited Clingendael

On September 13, the Secretary General of the MFA of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Melikyan visited the Clingendael Institute for International Relations in the Netherlands where he met with Roth Ton, Director of the Scientific and Educational Institution.

By decree of Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Vahagn Melikyan handed over the Honour medal of Foreign Affairs to Ron Ton for the evaluation of exemplary training programs for Armenian diplomats for nearly 30 years. The Secretary General underlined that during these decades many diplomats trained in Clingendale have become ambassadors and senior officials at the MFA and other Government institutions, emphasizing that the cooperation of the educational institution with the MFA Diplomatic School is highly appreciated.

The interlocutors discussed the current programs of cooperation and the prospects of deepening the partnership, as well as shared the experience in the field of education programs in diplomacy and international relations.
