Defense of Doctoral thesis on "Ziia Buniiatov and the Invention of an Azerbaijani Past" in Amsterdam

On October 18, the defence of the doctoral thesis entitled "Ziia Buniiatov and the Invention of an Azerbaijani Past" by Sara Krombach, a researcher at the University of Amsterdam took place in the Old Lutheran Church near to the Amsterdam Institute for Humanities Research (AIHR).

Anahit Chalikyan represented the Embassy of Armenia at the event. In conversation with Sarah Krombach, Ms. Chalikyan praised her research and emphasized the importance of counteraction by the Western scientific circles to the Azerbaijani attempts to falsify the history. Anahit Chalikyan handed over to Sara Krombach several books on the Azerbaijani historical falsifications.
