Ambassador Tigran Balayan delivered a online lecture for the participants of the summer school

Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Head of the Summer School Gegham Petrosyan mentioned at the beginning of the lecture organized for the students of the summer educational programs of YSU Faculty of International Relations, within the framework of the summer school itself, that Ambassador Tigran Balayan graduated with honors from YSU Faculty of International Relations.

"Mr. Ambassador studied at the postgraduate course of our faculty, defended a candidate's dissertation and in 2014 he received the title of associate professor. Tigran Balayan used to be a professor at the Faculty of International Relations. Mr. Ambassador is the author of a dozen scientific works",- the dean stated.

During the online meeting, Tigran Balayan presented the current level of relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as the development tendencies.

Ambassador Balayan touched upon the position of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the Artsakh issue, the relations between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Turkey, and also spoke about the role and activity of the Armenian community in the Netherlands.

During the lecture, Ambassador Balayan informed the students about cultural and economic diplomacy.

Tigran Balayan also discussed with the students the issues of the Azerbaijani aggression in the north-eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the position of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on it.

It should be reminded that the summer school started on July 15 and is implemented within the framework of the cooperation established between YSU Faculty of International Relations and the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
