Meeting of Ambassador Balayan with the Mayor of The Hague

On September 10, Mr. Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands, met with Mr. Jan van Zanen, newly elected Mayor of The Hague.

During the meeting Ambassador Balayan and Mayor Van Zanen touched upon the historical ties between Armenia and the Netherlands, the positive dynamic of the cooperation between the two countries and the significant role of the local governance bodies in that process.

The sides discussed the prospects of establishing a TUMO Center in The Hague and the possibilities of bossting the cycling culture in Yerevan.

Ambassador Balayan and Mayor Van Zanen exchanged views on the activities of the foreign diplomatic missions and internation organizations accredited to The Hague and their collaboration with the Municipality of The Hague.
