Ambassador’s meeting with the foreign affairs spokesperson of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy

On April 1, Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Netherlands, met Sven Koopmans, foreign affairs spokesperson of the People's Party for Freedom and
Democracy (Dutch: VVD) and member of the parliament of the Netherlands.
During the meeting both sides welcomed the recent intensification of the relations between Armenia and the Netherlands emphasizing the achievements of high-level meetings and efforts aimed at implementation of the agreements reached between two sides.
Ambassador Balayan briefly introduced ambitious agenda of reforms adopted by the
Government of Armenian and emphasized the importance of cooperation between two
countries. The Ambassador also gave outline on the current developments in the framework of the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict highlighting that the final status of Nagorno-Karabakh and the security of its population are of high priority for Armenia.
During the meeting General ideas about Dutch-Armenian cooperation in different fields were also exchanged.
